Saint-Paul de Fenouillet
Musée

The buildings of the former Collegiate Church of Saint-Paul, “the Chapter”, house a charming museum of popular art and traditions, archaeology, numismatics and minerals.

This museum has managed to take a place worthy of interest in the world of rare or forgotten objects. Since its foundation, the list of pieces and documents collected has continued to grow, giving a deep meaning to the methodical gathering that ranges from the simple everyday object, the historical document, to the testimony of the buried hours of local life:
staging of daily life in the nineteenth century,
unique collection of antique and handcrafted tools, mainly from woodturners in the nineteenth century,
in the beautifully decorated rooms of seventeenth-century stucco, archaeological collections are brought together as well as a permanent exhibition by a local artist.
