This Monday, June 9, is a day of success, joy, conviviality, celebration and friendship. Many activities followed one another throughout the day in the center of the municipal stadium surrounded by marquees… de Peñas!
Mayor Jacques Bayona has succeeded in bringing together elected officials, volunteers from associations, shopkeepers, residents, etc… and the festival grows from year to year.
Elected officials from the municipality, elected officials from the municipalities of Fenouillèdes and elected officials from Salanque, Têt, the Agly valley, the Plaine d’Illibéris, Garrotxes, etc…, various cultural and sports associations, groups of friends… About fifteen Peñas met on this day of Pentecost, in the land of Fenouillèdes, to celebrate to the Spanish rhythm and under a beautiful and bright sun.
Each cook of the Peñas concocted his Spanish dish in his own way and a jury of three people deliberated to elect the Peña 2025!
Congratulations to the Peña EL CAPULLO! She won the “planxot 2025”. Next year it will be up for grabs!

The show producer, Magic Stars, chosen as the service provider for the occasion, has programmed throughout the day, a great journey, through its performances of dancers, singers, dances with the horses, but also through the customs and traditions of Spain, an exceptional day in the heart of our village of Saint-Paul de Fenouillet.
In the presence of local merchants, the local brewery TOT VA BE, the caterer André MANZANARES, the croquants de Pascale, the biscuit factory l’AUTHENTIQUE and the wine merchant Domaine MAJORAL. Not to mention the agents of the municipal technical service who did an extraordinary job. They have contributed to this success and the municipality thanks them.
